Trump’s Border Enforcement Plans: Targeted Operations to Begin Next Week

Tom Homan, President-elect Donald Trump's designated "border czar," announced that targeted operations to detain undocumented migrants would begin next week in several U.S. cities.

These operations, which he refrained from calling raids, are expected to focus on areas such as New York, Miami, and Chicago, with an emphasis on county jails where individuals with deportation orders may be held.

Homan stressed that these operations would be carefully planned for officer safety, with ICE agents aware of potential household members.

While Homan did not specify when mass deportation flights would start, he confirmed that the Trump administration was focused on deporting individuals with final removal orders.
