Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg welcomed Denis Bećirović, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to NATO Headquarters on Monday, April 8, 2024, for discussions on regional security matters and advancing the country's partnership with NATO.


Stoltenberg reiterated NATO's firm support for Bosnia and Herzegovina's sovereignty and territorial integrity, highlighting NATO's commitment to the country's security reform efforts through the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo and bolstering capabilities via a Defense Capacity Building package.
