Department of Defense Announces New Security Assistance Package for Ukraine
Today, the Department of Defense (DoD) announced a significant new security assistance package aimed at addressing Ukraine's critical security and defense needs.


This latest announcement marks the sixty-fifth tranche of equipment provided to Ukraine from DoD inventories since August 2021, under the Biden Administration.
The new Presidential Drawdown Authority (PDA) package is valued at approximately $250 million and includes a range of advanced capabilities to support Ukraine's ongoing efforts.
The package will provide essential resources such as air defense missiles, munitions for rocket systems and artillery, armored vehicles, and anti-tank weapons. These additions are intended to bolster Ukraine's ability to meet its most pressing needs amid the ongoing conflict.
